Paraxous Cluster Book 2, Hunting the Dashia, now available!
When you’re done being prey, you become a Hunter.
Twyla Millett thought she’d escaped the clutches of her sadistic mother, Cassiopeia DeConnett. She was wrong.
Now, the lives of her best friends are in jeopardy. Twyla’s only hope is to trust a mysterious Dashia Hunter whose only job is assassinating all psychic vampires within the Paraxous Star Cluster. But Twyla doesn’t want to settle for being hidden away again. She wants to end the threat once and for all—she wants to become a Dashia Hunter and take down Cassiopeia and the entire DeConnett crime family.
Will the Hunter train Twyla and her friends? Can she trust him, or will her own psychic abilities give him reason to eliminate her as another potential Dashia? The choices made could shake the Paraxous Cluster to its very foundation.

Sneak Peek of Chapter 1
The shuttle rocked, ending our moment.
“Hang on!” The pilot called over the comm.
I automatically reached out with my telepathic senses. Somehow Cassie had found us. I could sense her. And she was out for blood. My blood. As she reestablished our mental link, it became clear she didn’t care if the attack destroyed our shuttle.
I thought you weren’t allowed to kill me, I flashed through our link in desperation.
Well Twyla, you thought wrong, she sent back as our shuttle rocked again. This time the metallic tang of ozone filled the air. We’d sustained damage.
“Shit!” I grabbed Dovain’s talon-like hand. He looked over at me. His ice-blue skin paled to white, his feathers fluffed like a chicklings, and the pupils of his avian eyes dilated until only a rim of his golden-brown irises showed.
“The Elder DeConnett lifted the restriction against killing me,” I explained needlessly. Apparently, my genetic engineering was no longer so valuable that my rebellion against the family had to be tolerated.
“Suit up!” The pilot’s shouted came over the comm, along with the blare of multiple alarms from the cockpit.
